There has been too much talk recently about civil servants being a burden on the state, but every country needs them to develop and function. Very little is said about the vision of our (read Slovenian) economy, on which we all depend - from the Government of the Republic of Slovenia to me as the last citizen of this beautiful country of ours.
I propose that the State or the competent ministries start to intensively search for, finance and protect those solutions that will lead Slovenia to unprecedented earning potential and thus to the well-being of all its citizens. There are many possibilities, and I propose the following:
- the development and production of new, significantly more powerful batteries for electric vehicles or boats
. the development and production of powerful low-energy gensets for motor vehicles, marine and air craft
- the sustainable development of the country (which I am sure we can do within 10 years) towards the use of renewable energy and electricity, with at least one renewable energy source in every household, and 90% of electric motor vehicles, air and watercraft used for private transport, passenger and freight transfer
. finding new medicines and treatments for humans and animals...
If, given our size, our will, our stubbornness and the enormous amount of excellent knowledge we already have and the innovative solutions we have so far, we manage to find the right solution, protect it properly and start producing it only in Slovenia (yes, we have to be egotists here), in just one of the above areas (I believe we can succeed in all of them), then we will not be talking about how much we will have to save, but how we will spend it all.
I hope to reap the rewards of these proposals, which I want to see become flesh and blood very soon.
