I suggest that the government starts to think seriously about abolishing fees for services that are essential for survival, or are imposed on the population to pay for them. The most necessary are, of course, electricity and water, which should be made available to private individuals for free at a set price, as they currently represent too great a burden for people. Perhaps this should be made possible first of all only for pensioners, and socially deprived groups, with the consequence that pensions, social assistance, places, etc... can be cut, because it is pointless to pay for these services, since if we can have free, salt, health, police, fire, etc..., we can pay for them..., we could also have these things, which are necessary for survival and should be guaranteed in the SOCIAL STATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA, as it is written in the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia!!! Maybe this measure can also be given to all those who have a lower than average salary, i.e. the salary in a joint household, because too often financial violence occurs when partners extort each other for not paying their salaries or when parents extort children and vice versa. Such measures could ensure greater social peace, as these costs would be guaranteed. At the moment, we are paying a singer for the cost of school meals, most of which are not essential for survival, but which are nevertheless a greater burden than food, which is essential for survival, and that is not right. Nor have I seen anyone explain to me what SOCIAL ASSISTANCE is actually for, because there is no definition, or even the staff at the centre themselves do not know what it is for, and how people can help themselves with it, because the fact is that you do not have to live on social assistance if you have such high costs, because you do not even have enough left over for the food that should be included! That is why I would like to see a new system whereby all socially deprived people who live below the poverty line, or who have a lower salary or income in the household than the average salary in the last 3 months, would have the right to receive paid benefits.
