Common problems in Slovenia: All of these things not only have a negative impact on society, but also cost a huge amount. I see a large part of these problems as being caused by people being overworked, on the one hand, and unemployment, on the other. Proposal: I think the problem could be solved by limiting the hours a worker can work per week (40) and per month (168). A person who works intensively for 8 hours certainly deserves a rest. I don't think anyone is capable of 12 hours of intensive and concentrated work (and a whole year of retirement). So if there are two people in a company working 12 hours a day, which is often the case, in my opinion one person is missing from that job. If we were to employ the people who are missing in each job and not over-fire the ones we have, we would reduce unemployment and have an impact on reducing all the problems listed above and many others. Our forefathers fought for the 8-hour working day for a reason. Overtime should be forgotten, the employer should not have the right to burden the worker beyond those hours.
