I propose to ban the sale of vehicles with a speed higher than 140 km/h or their registration and use in road traffic in Slovenia (the existing ones could remain during the transition period). The maximum speed limit is 130 km/h and there is no need to sell the means to systematically break the law (cars). Practically all modern cars have built-in electronic settings that can easily be used to set such a limit. Such a chip would also make unnecessary vehicles with huge and greedy engines that reach high speeds and cause a lot of pollution. Instead, smaller power units would be preferred, and the settings would be geared towards better acceleration and lower consumption.
