The Small Business Act was recently defeated in a referendum, which is only right. It was voted against by those who are politically aligned on both the left and the right. The reasons for this are because it is a new form of exploitation of students, pensioners and the unemployed in addition to student work. The main reason why student work is exploitative is that you do not accrue working time, you do not pay insurance or other contributions to the state. This form of student work must be prevented.
A sub-contract is similar to student work, except that it pays contributions to the state, unlike exploitative student work. I propose that the government abolish student work through referrals and allow the only alternative to this work, work through subcontracting. In this way, students will also receive the same contributions as other employees.
I ask the users of the predlagam.vladi.si portal and the Government to support my proposal, otherwise to give me counter-arguments as to why my proposal is not suitable for further consideration.
