I propose that, following the example of other countries (Austria, Germany), funding for religious communities should be stopped and a religious tax introduced. Anyone who is religious and goes to church, mosque or other sacred place of worship should have a percentage of their salary taken from their salary each month and given to the religious community to which they belong. I do not see why the religious delusions of individuals should be paid for by everyone when none of us atheists are. Let people believe and go to worship, but at their own expense, not ours. The Church receives a lot from the State every year, a lot of tax-free money from the faithful, in addition to its business (T-2) and additional services. The Church has sued the State for every little thing and has been sued, and today the State, through NLB, should take from the Church all that they have mortgaged to the bank, and if that is not enough, the forests should also be taken from them in the equivalent amount, so that all the costs to the State or NLB are covered. The Church, or any religious community, is there for worship, not to do business for the State.
