I propose that social assistance be replaced by assistance in the form of vouchers. Social protection policy can be implemented in cash or in kind. And because of the many abuses and similar matters, it is good to give priority to benefits in kind. Only such a measure is based on justice and solidarity between citizens. These vouchers should be used to purchase foodstuffs, hygiene products, clothing and other necessities. In addition, the voucher should be valid only for the current month and should not be transferable. So that if the funds are not used in a given month, they cannot be carried over to another month. In this way, those in need would be helped, and those who use the social assistance money to buy luxury goods, cigarettes, expensive perfumes, even drugs, should be properly sanctioned. In addition, a special inspection service should be set up to supervise users and also, as a first step, to carry out an audit of recipients of social assistance. It is also unfair that many disabled and rural pensioners receive less than those who do not contribute to the state coffers. So it would also be fair to those of us who go to work and pay taxes.
