We are all looking at the chaos on the roads now that the snow has fallen, according to the news.
Of course, everyone who does not have winter tyres fitted to their vehicles is pointing the finger at the ploughing services. Now the Minister of Transport and DARS will do a whole study on why there has been a traffic collapse!
It even seems to me that those of us who have winter tyres on our vehicles are *being* made a fool of, because drivers who have summer tyres on their vehicles are making a fool of us.
We all know that a good driver with summer tyres will not fit a ketna until his vehicle is stationary.
I propose to the Government that it should legislate for all road users, I mean cars and lorries, that all vehicles must have winter tyres fitted from 15 November onwards.
Only in this way will we all be equal in traffic and I am sure that such chaotic situations will not occur anymore!!!!!!!
I am also sure that with such a law we will all be much safer on the road during the winter months!
