I propose that the amount we pay for supplementary insurance goes directly into the health coffers, without intermediaries such as insurance companies.
It is very important, especially in health care, that as much of the money that we pay for health care as possible goes directly to the health budget, and not to insurance companies, which take part of it as commission. This makes no sense and only has the effect of reducing the quality of the health service and lowering the salaries in the health service. If we are paying for health care, it should be the health service that gets the money, not the insurance companies, because it is the public health service that needs the money to function and it does not make any sense for the insurance companies to steal some of the money, except that the money is flowing out of the health sector, where it is desperately needed.
