I suggest that the government takes immediate action to put an end to this absurdity, which we hear is perfectly legal. Social assistance represents a credit from the state to its citizens in such a way that the repayment of this social assistance is not evident from the decision that the recipient of social assistance receives. Article 128 under the Inheritance Act must either be amended or pointed out in the decisions granting social assistance, notwithstanding the fact that there are two line ministries at play here. This is misleading by stealth. Do you realise how many young people are receiving social assistance today who do not even realise that this social assistance will one day be paid back by their children or their partners. It is always necessary to check all the clauses before signing any contract, and the fact that the recipient of social assistance is not informed in the contract that this social assistance is a loan that has to be repaid to the state is, to me, an unacceptable absurdity, and even less so the fact that we are going about social assistance in such an insidious way.
