I provide complete care for my mother in the home environment, which means that I personally care for her by helping her with all the basic needs of life, feeding, drinking, dressing and undressing, washing, getting up, moving around, turning around, using the toilet and keeping her safe, and by providing her with medical care, such as, working with my mother's personal doctor, organising access to the necessary health services, ensuring that she takes the prescribed therapy and helping her to take her medication, carrying out certain physiotherapy procedures, caring for wounds, preventing and treating pressure sores, purchasing prescription medicines and assistive devices with a referral (wheelchair, pressure sores, dressings, nappies, etc.), help the mother to move around, assist in the use and cleaning of aids, and further provide social care by helping to establish and maintain social and, above all, kinship ties, deal with all mail and personal administration, inform the doctor and the matron about the mother's condition and needs, I also provide her with all the domestic help she needs, such as preparing appropriate food and drinks, as healthy and natural as possible, maintaining the rooms and making sure they are adequately heated, making and changing the bed, keeping the house clean and washing the laundry and clothes, arranging the living environment according to her needs, etc, I quit my job to help my disabled mother. Let the government take care of us who give help to people who cannot take care of themselves 24 hours a day.
