I propose a total ban on advertising alcoholic beverages and the adoption of excise duties on alcoholic beverages equal to the price of the drink. Explanation: - We are bombarded daily by the media with the harmful properties of alcohol consumption; - the Ministry of Health spends taxpayers' money on preventive campaigns against alcohol; - alcohol is - according to police statistics - often the direct cause of road accidents; - penalties for drink-drivers are set up to fill the budget. Any advertising of alcoholic beverages is therefore, according to the third indent, incitement to injury and, in the extreme case, death. At the same time, according to the fourth indent, it is an incitement to make people worse off financially, as the cost of a fine or of retaking a driving test is high. It is utterly stupid for an advertisement for alcoholic beverages to appear in the media, along with the announcements of preventive campaigns against drinking, which are paid for by the taxpayer.
