Dear Sir or Madam. This letter should be a serious proposal on the carrying out of roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles. As we know, today the Government of the Republic of Slovenia extended the moratorium on roadworthiness tests for another month. As I work in this sector, I must warn you that this may not be right. Given the specific nature of this work, I know that all the work we have missed and will miss again will have to be done later. As we know, it is difficult to do all the work retrospectively for one month, and even worse for two months. Already now (for tomorrow) our employer has told us in quotes that we will have to work all day, including Saturdays, and that he would order work on Sunday. How does it follow then that we will work 7 days a week without rest? I do not know how long we will be able to do this without consequences. No one will dare to challenge the employer in this case, especially now that so many workers will be out of a job. I think that, since the shops are open, we could also work, as we have much less contact with customers than in a shop. We would just need to take a few measures to protect workers (gloves, masks, hand sanitisation in the car, etc.) and we could work normally. If not, at least we could at least be allowed to work in the field - technical inspections of tractors - during this time, when it would still be closed to others, so that at least this could be resolved in the meantime, and not then we are left with everything for two months. Otherwise, I respect the work of this government, in these times of crisis, especially as this is the political option that is closest to my views on society. I am looking forward to your reply!
