I propose to tax solid fuel heating. The tax would be collected through the chimney sweepers.
The amount of the tax collected would be earmarked for grants for more environmentally friendly heating, e.g. heat pumps.
The State should help to finance more environmentally friendly heating installations.
This would reduce environmental pollution, as it is no longer possible to leave the house in winter....
