Hello, I propose to extend the Republic scholarship to students studying in parallel, regardless of the age of the scholarship holder enrolling in parallel studies, if his/her age at the time of enrolment at the home faculty was less than or equal to 26. I suggest that the fact that the Republican scholarship cannot be paid for the same level of education should be disregarded, as it seems irrelevant to me that if a student enrols in a higher education institution in two different fields of study, he or she has a different, varied employment prospect. E.g. we have a nurse and an electrician of a college... the electrician will get a job sooner than the nurse or vice versa. That a student chooses to do additional studies is just an advantage. Let me point out that parallel studies are only possible once you have passed the first year of your home faculty and of course the approval of the board for the field of study, which means that again not everyone can study parallel studies if they do not meet the conditions. Given that we live in a world where one degree is not enough, additional education should be supported. The second thing that bothers me is that the Social Work Centres will not, with the new law, approve the distribution of social assistance to students who are studying in parallel, saying that the student has obtained one of the qualifications with the first fax. However, if a parallel student does not get a job with his/her primary education, he/she cannot even apply to the Employment Service because of his/her parallel study status. This is unacceptable, as it puts the student in even greater misery, so to speak. It is practically impossible to expect a student to guarantee a job when he or she already has a diploma, but this cannot be expected of a student if the job is dependent on the employer. In any case, if this is unfeasible, the Employment Service must take this into account. I therefore make the following proposals: - Students who are studying in parallel should be extended the Republic scholarship regardless of the age of the scholarship holder enrolling in parallel studies, provided that his/her age at the time of enrolment at the home faculty was less than or equal to 26 years of age. - If a student is studying in parallel and has no income, he/she has the possibility to apply for social assistance, regardless of the fact that he/she has already completed his/her home faculty and obtained a primary education, if he/she does not obtain a job.
